March 17, 2012         100^th Year Celebration Tea Party @ Wayne County Museum (Free) 1:30pm – 3:30pm (visit the Wayne County Girl Scout display at the museum the entire month of March!)

March 22, 2012         Girl Scouts 100^th Year Celebration – Round-A-Bout Skating 5:00PM to 7:00PM. $6 per skater (whether you rent or not) $2 per Non-Skater. We must pre-register as a troop and pre-pay. Payment due by 03/01/2012

These are the projects the girls should be working on independently. If you could discuss them and offer guidance where necessary this would be helpful – all achievements are earned once project is completed and shown to me. Most have directions in the GGTGS.  These are the awards:

My Promise / My Faith (year 1) – Must be completed by 09/30/2012.

Religious Medal – Catholic Girls: Journal must be completed, signed by the Deacon and returned to me by January 5, 2012 to receive the medal on Scout Sunday at SMS in February. Other Religions: please ask at your place of worship if they celebrate a Scout Sunday. If they do get me the date and I will give you a deadline. Note: This award may be earned ANYTIME before 09/30/2012 the above deadlines are only if you wish to receive the award on Scout Sunday!

Make Your Own (year 1) – Must be completed by 09/30/2012 Must learn a completely new activity and share it with the troop. Please see GGTGS for more details.
